The musings and mishaps of a Windows sys admin

Learn Windows PowerShell in a Month of Lunches

Recently I decided that it was important for me to expand my skillset and pickup the PowerShell scripting language. Any good Windows admin should be proficient with this scripting language, and soon it will be a requirement with the advent of Windows Server 2012.

As such, I set out to find something that could teach me the basics of PowerShell scripting both efficiently and effectively. It was during this search that I came across the book “Learn Windows PowerShell in a Month of Lunches.” If you prefer to watch videos instead of reading the material, you can watch them on YouTube.

I’ve not yet finished the entire book (I’m only on day 11) but I’ve already learned a great deal. This is a must read book for any of my fellow Windows admins who have been meaning to add PowerShell to their arsenal but have yet to do so.
